The subconscious mind – something that has a huge effect on every action, but is constantly overlooked.
As humans we operate on a subconscious level more than 90% of the time.  
Your subconscious mind has something called a homeostatic impulse, which regulates functions like body temperature, heartbeat and breathing. This is fantastic and we want this function of the subconscious to continue, however there are certain other elements of the subconscious we need to bring into the conscious mind, the critical thought function of our brain and evaluate.

The function of your subconscious mind is to store and retrieve data. Its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are programmed. Your subconscious mind makes everything you say and do fit a pattern consistent with your self-concept. 
How do we get programmed and develop our self-concept, I hear you say.. Through living life, starting as a baby, into childhood - everything we observe and experience forms part of our programming.
